Hi guys I’m looking at buying my first Tacoma I got 3 that interest me. Maybe you could help me decide 2017-2016 or 2014.
I got some pictures for you
The 2017 sport DCSB manual has 15000km on it, they want 40k for it. The 2016 sport DCSB manual has 65000km on it, they want 38k. They 2014 sport w/ leather DCLB has 65000km on it and they want 33k. (This is in BC Canada) 75C4EF14-7159-4A19-8D4A-A792EDFD18C1.jpgE8E25734-1676-49AC-9DCB-93F99AEF64A1.jpg 7E6E0A95-7B6F-472E-AA93-FE66EC4A3F59.jpg

I would opt for the '17 since it has the lowest mileage and it still under warranty.

Get the 2017. Already has the Pro grill which saves a few hundo. The 2016 is overpriced compared to the 2017 unless the options are really different

newer and then add the OVTUNE. Worth it. Had a Gen 2. The Gen 3 with OVTune is way better. JMO.

Whichever one has the least rust on it (since you're in Canada).

30k usd.. not terrible at all. Let it rip on the 17. Why does it look like the older front end on that 14?

Not sure why people post crap like this but let me give you some advice.

Take them for drives and see what you like the best. Find the truck you like and feel is worth the money. Everyone single person on here is gonna have a different reason or opinion on these trucks. Bottom line is they aren’t the ones who will be driving the truck or making the payments.

Get either the 2017 or the 2014. You can totally throw out the 2016. Would pick you the 2014 ten times over that 2016.

But debate between the 17 and 14. The 14 has a solid 4.0 engine and is super reliable while the 17 is a great truck for a bit more- but you might be able to steal the 14 for a good deal and have a stronger engine

I would do the 14. Only cause I’m a fan of the 4.0 vs the newer 3.5... :anonymous:

In Calgary you can get a 2018 TRD off road (DCSB) with added on accessories for $42k all in. Why pay 2k less for a used truck?
