    Same crap everyone else got

The second ad has the correct year in the second part where you put the vehicle info on the side. If it were a random person trying to scam, they would use the same pics and also ask way less. I'm willing to bet it is another salesman trying to get his contact info for this vehicle out there so it goes straight to him instead of calling the dealership and it be a random sales guy answering that might grab the sale. That is not the textbook definition of a scam. Scammers don't ever list market value or over for their items. It's always listed at an unbelievable price. This is common practice with smaller used car lots and their sales people.

okay, at a minimum that is evidence of a highly dishonest sales practice, and if I were the owner of the lot, I'd probably fire that salesman.

All that aside, there are enough falsehoods in these adds (like the repaired frame, NOT a new frame) to be highly suspicious

I agree. You can trust what the ad says about the car about as far as you can throw said vehicle. When I was financing vehicles as a job, we often wouldn't finance vehicle from small places like that. Nothing but title issues and dishonesty. Not worth the headache in the long run unless you use some type of letter of guarantee stating they don't get their check until the vehicle is registered with a clean title to you in your state. Most don't have the money to wait that long so they opt out but it's safer for the buyer and financier.

All this said, as long as the truck doesn't come up stolen (lol), and it checks out mechanically, it doesn't really matter if the seller(s) is a douche canoe.

A repaired frame isn't a big deal as long as it was done correctly. If that's a new frame, they better supply the receipts! (check the vin, you can also call Toyota and ask them if the frame was replaced)

All depends on what OP wants to do with it, and what the local laws are for frame repairs like that. If you suspect it will be an issue getting it registered, then walk away. But if this is going to be a dedicated trail truck where you hack and weld on it anyway, who cares what the frame looks like, lol.

Used car dealer and fishy go hand in hand :)

I've had the exact same thing happen more than once. I search private owned, email about something that interests me and end up with a salesman calling me. F'ing irritating.

Lol the body lean stands out a lot in person, don’t really trust the ‘new frame’ either. Hard pass. Btw inside looked great lol
