Original looks good. Gunmetal looks decent. Black is SO played out. It's gonna chip and look like crap in 6 months.

Do at least 4 coats. 1 tack coat and at least 3 good coats. It will be too thin to peal otherwise and will come off in little pieces. It wont crack and peel after 6 months. If you want to change colors you can go straight on top of what you have or peel and start fresh.

Its a rubber product so its fairly resilient but you can damage it. Easily fixed though.

I've done more with it than most have, especially if you think that black or grey on wheels is your only option with the product.

This looked pretty much the same after 2+ years of constant exposure as it did the day after it was done.

Not enough to matter. Even the calipers, no issue and they definitely get toasty. The wheels were done when on my other tacoma, then moved to the silver. No good pics though, just look like black wheels.

Decent dip pics of the mustang though. It looked like this for about a year of wyoming, few months of florida. And now that parking space looks a lot like a bmw

20170309_150855.jpg 2yrs... looked good until today. Tried to paint the "T" on the caps green to match and it bubbled the dip. Stripping them to paint now... extra layers would have been nice. If you dip, layers are you friend. I am suffering now.
