    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
On the streets I drive as safe as I can, not too worried about my driving but there are a lot of old folks around here that don't realize that light was red until they're already through the intersection.

But once in a while (like yesterday) I'll get the itch...me and the kid were heading down the backroads to Winn Dixie and there were some bumpy open fields in-between. You know I had to play a bit!

Mine's still new (16K) and I drive it like I own a prius (laugh). I'll get on it if/when I need to and it never disappoints me. This truck won't be off-roaded like my previous one. I've learned how bad mud/water is to your truck over time. I bought this truck new and I wanna keep it forever and prestine. But at the same time, It is a daily driver life to the job that helps buy goodies!

If I wanna abuse something, I abuse my jeep (or my husband :p)

I can't say about the Taco because I'll probably baby that thing more than I babied the Mazda when I first got it but I drive the Expedition with a leadfoot to hear it roar and the Volvo gets BEATEN THE HELL OUT OF because of the turbo and the Mazda gets beaten on because it's a piece of shit and it should blow up so I can seriously Lemon Law it but I'll probably drive the Taco like the Expedition in the end, leadfoot to hear it roar every now and again.

Ha, only had it for a month, but I was behind a logging truck two days ago, so I wanted to see what she had...Holy crap, I went from 40 to 95 before I realized it. Just a small increase in power from the 3L v6 in the old goat 4Runner...lol

For snow & ice in the winter....

I have another vehicle for offroading. :D

Been there done that with my 96 tacoma. This truck I prefer to keep it in nice shape forever. Offroading is harsh on vehicles.

I have an 03 Mazda P5 for commuting but it has been garaged a lot since getting the truck recently. Probably haven't driven it 4 times in the 2 months of having the truck. Funny, it was the opposite beforehand when I had the 82 prerunner with 400k on the clock.

I got it with 27K on it. When I first bought the truck I didn't drive it very much because I wasn't in school and was unemployed.

I've put 900 miles on my truck since Saturday morning

I have a buddy with a 97 - 4 Runner with 170,XXX + miles on it and he drives it like he stole it. It is a company vehicle though. The only thing besides regular maintaince is it has had to have 2 coil packs and that's it. He is the reason I bought my TACO and that I have always liked Toyota's.:D

I have the slowest Tacoma made (2.7 AC 4x4) so sometimes I have to give it hell to get out of it's own way. Most of the time I'm a mellow driver though.

I "offroad" 5 days a week, twice a day. That would be on the crappy dirt road where the daycare is located (new construction; they're paving by next year, I think). All washboard and pot holes. I'm pretty impressed that I don't have any squeaks or rattles but then I'm used to Fords. All I can say is, thank God I ditched the Altima for the Tacoma.
