To high clearance, or not to high clearance.. rear bumper question.

No swing out, I’m sure that adds a decent amount of weight. Probably 120-130 lbs over stock then. The stock tow hitch is fairly heavy.

 

Gotcha, for me I don’t care about the rating.

If it’s just looks that’s fine, since you’ve had it has there been anything you don’t like about it or realize great features now.
Like build quality, ease of installation, rub rails, table, Jerry can holder, angled or straight tire carrier, rear cam relocation....etc

 

HC is the Only option. I prefer the tilted HC.

You might be able to reuse the factory bed side tie ins with a little modifications of course.

I'm partial to my 2013 & 2015 with brute force fab hc rear and plate fronts. Has a hidden hitch up high and towed a 5k triton 18 trx since 2018. The hitch is behind the flip up license plate but needs a 6+ inch drop ball for towing. The 2nd gen off road kept tearing off my round 7 pin connector and banging hitch on hunting trails. Had to hammer up the spare tire claws a little but fits a 255/85r16 spare. And these pics are after a major rear end by a f250 hd drunk driver into 5 of us, me first, so yeah,
