    My 2015 toyota tacoma has a painted surrounded of grill it has deep scratches in the paint I m looking for some feedback on if I should have it repainted which will probably cost big $$$ or plasticdip it in black or try and paint it myself.pics will help

    Depends on the result you want. Do you want it color-matched? Paint it. Don't care about color match, suck at painting, and can live with something looking trashy? Plasti-Dip.

    I have no idea what you are asking?
    Are you asking about painting the truck?
    Or painting the grill?

    If it’s the grill. Plasti-dip and move on.
    If it’s the truck…….No plasti-dip for me.

    Actually, I don’t care. I don’t paint anything unless it down to bare metal.
    And the only reason I paint it then is because I don’t want it to rust.

    Why not buy a new grill from Toyota that’s already painted to match your truck?

    They’re usually around $250.
