To roof rack or not to roof rack... you decide...with pics!

    Banks exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. removed secondary air filter. Bilstein 5100s front @2.5 and 5100s rear. AAL. Fog light mod. Baja rack. Billet grille. 265/70/17 falken wild peak A/T
    Old set up (not recommended without a reinforced camper shell).. mine wasnt and cracked from too much weight and rough dirt roads

    I've installed a baja lo pro rack on my taco and...

    Pros: I Love the look and functionality is priceless.

    Cons: Noisy, lowered mpg's, blue tooth cell usage is highly mumbled.

    Conclusion: Most people that don't have a RR want one and those that do have a RR find reasons to take them off. Same goes for short bed and long bed owners. Final thoughts there is nothig worse than loading up the truck like a puzzle and still needing more room for cargo I vote roof rack stays on and I'll just live with the cons.

    I think they are hit and miss, depends on the truck. Funny thing is, 99% of the ones I see on trucks are never in use!
