I just wanted to get your guys opinion on studding tires. I am going to college where it snows and everything freezes a lot. The tires I wanted to know about were the druatracs. I know they have holes for studs but do you think it would be better to have them studded or not. I also wanted to know if you guys think I should get C or E rated tires. I wouldn't be doing a lot of off roading but I would be airing them down to drive out on sand easier. One more thing, I have to drive over a pass to get home. Thanks for the suggestions

Studded hands down. Ive had both studded and non studded and they help more then you'd think. But also with winter, remember its not like mudding... once you start to lose traction, BACK OFF the gas pedal, dont stop on it you'll just make things worse.

Definitely stud them if it's legal to run them. Do all 4 too. When the tread wears down too far for good snow traction, pull out the studs and run them in the summer...

Any recommendation about C or E rated tires? I would be airing them down to go across the sand possibly towing a flat bed trailer with 1-3 quads on it.
