If you have the black plastic, no. Just armor-all it.

If you have the painted fenders, wax the hell out of it. It's paint too.

Yes, painted wax them. If not don't... and try hard to avoid the weather stripping.

DO NOT PUT ARMOR ALL ON THEM!!! Unless you want to dry them out and let them crack soon. Worst product ever devised by the human race.

I've heard other people say this before too but never seen or experience any ill effects first hand. I think it's probably a myth perpetuated by the competition.

it actually was a bit of a problem 15 years ago... the armor all today is different than it was back then.

I wax every painted surface and I wax the windows as well.

The the armor-all comment...I have been using armor-all on all my vehicle for years and have never had anything dry out and crack. I'm pretty sure armor-all wouldn't be in business if their product actually did that. Plus im sure in the long long time armor-all has been in business they have probably done extensive testing to make sure that doesn't happen in their products.

I used it once, dash was warped and cracked 3 months later. Was fine the first year I owned the car.

I use Liquid Glass on all my vehicles- even on the motorcycle (A Victory Vision). Some of the best stuff out there, especially on a clear coat.
