i feel like sharing because i am so happy right now. i took the first three parts of my LARE (Landscape Architect Registration Exam) last month. 300+multiple choice questions on project and construction administration, inventory, analysis and program devleopment, and design and construction documentation. worst exams i have ever taken in my life...every question was so subjective and most of them were questions where i had to pick multiple answers to get it right. i felt for sure i had failed all 3 (and they aren't cheap exams either). i got my results today and i passed all 3. i have 2 more exams to take in december and then i can start the paperwork to become a registered landscape architect. once that happens, i move on up in the company, get a better pay rate etc...i'm pretty stoked about this. anyway, i just thought i would share.

i feel like bumping this back up because today is an even better day! last winter i took the last 2 exams i needed to become a registered landscape architect. i passed one and failed the other. so i had another opportunity to take the exam i failed this past June before they changed the entire exam format and i would have to retake parts that i had already passed. i just found out that i passed my last exam! all i have to to do know is fill out some paperwork for the state and wait for my license to show up!

so excited right now! i really can't concentrate on my work (obviously because i'm posting on tacomaworld lol)
