    i'm thinking about grabbing a couple for christmas presents for my pa and my brother. any thoughts? anybody used bushnell before? i know Garmin is the standard but this particular GPS looks pretty nice.

    Does it run off satellites... similar to gps? ome of those things run off like signal stations on ground and once those places get knocked out in a storm the device will sometimes be useless. Just curious to know what it runs off of?

    no idea, i haven't had a chance to read over everything yet. and when i say "haven't had a chance" i mean teh description is too long for me to read
