    Hello!

Been working on her for about three+ years, fitting in work whenever life permits. If it was compressed it still may be 3-6 months of solid work lol. Still, when broken down in chunks it's not so bad but when you think of the time and effort spent in total it can make a guy shake his head. It is a fun pass time though.

Doing the work yourself is very satisfying and I think we all wish for more $$$. It can be expensive and it's definitely addictive, there's always another mod on the horizon.

No videos yet as I'm too cheap for a GoPro. Maybe I'll tape the cellphone to my head Hahaha.

    You gonna go forced induction?

Pulley boys hub with smooth flow pulley. If I did it again I would go smooth flow all the way.

A mechanic left this on the seat when I took it in for frame recall.

    Dude!

That's a cool car. although not as cool ass a Supra. ahha jk, it is truly a good car and who gives a fk what others think about it anyways..... really the 300ZX never got the rep it deserved. Hard to work on and make reliable they say but Supras suck big time in so many ways too...…..

The supra my dad and I worked on was a 1989 in white

So where does one order these pulley sets??

I have a similar line of questioning although not quite as direct as yours..... hwere you located???

That's a while. But glad to know you can take your time and still get it done.....

Nice. That's totally awesome. I feel better about getting you to help me now...….

    Supras are dope!

Don't think smoothflow does the online ordering thing although that may have changed. Phone call was how I did it.

If @Athlaos gets his hands on your truck it's guaranteed to go faster.

First time trifecta of launching in 4wd, filming and editing.

Wonder how this truck would behave at sea level. Had my 4runner on the coast years ago and the increase in power was very noticeable.

Could attempt again later but seems like roughly an 9.4 second 0-60 judging from the 2nd run where you can actually see the speedometer.
***I have since found out my speedometer has been reading 10kph too low for years now, meaning I have been excessively speeding for years now (instead of just speeding) and the 0-60 time is not really accurate.

I swear at the end due to reasons so I age restricted it

Good idea! I'll have to figure that out

Edit: I removed the section to remove the age restriction. It wasn't funny enough to keep anyways and lost all meaning with bleeping

that car was dope.... I miss it although near the end it was getting bad enough that it just needed to become a part-out

Good info on the pulleys! So you guys said 2.8 was an acceptable size with no other mods right??

haha - yeah he's the fastest truck north of the 53rd or what?? I wouldn't doubt it anyways

I have a similar truck and did mine over about 4 years. I ran it N/A for a year and then threw the blower on and things got outta hand quick

Popular opinion is the 2.8 should be alright but I would still plan for upgrading the fuel pump at a later date myself.

I'm still on the stock y pipe and cat back and dying to replace it all but waiting for the Roosty pipe before that gets done.

I have a hole inside my heart that can only be filled by an exhaust upgrade.

Ahhh i didnt realize that, yeah the roosty Y is definitely worth the wait before you do your catback so you only have to do it once. You gonna go the keg muffler route eventually or still undecided?

It’s time to open that baby up and let it breath!

I'd like to kegify but I've noticed they don't seem available used at all. I think Canada didn't get the keg for some reason so I most likely will need to find an alternative.

Agreed... my dude with auto SC in Edmonton runs the 2.8 and it's doing well for him for like almost a year now.
