When I was in the market for a short shifter I remember reading that for some people the urd kit had a few issues with the ball breaking and other stuff.

I think that would be the most likely point of failure or slop. It's kind of a lateral linkage type deleo isn't it?

Funny you typed that, back when I had the URD ball extension by itself the ball broke off my stock shifter. So far, the Core/Hurst has held together. It's always a risk though.

Lol. I enjoy being known for something...

Sorry to hijack your thread but I made the mistake of seeing what TE37s look like on my truck. Now I'm trying to figure out a way to come up with $7000.....

I'd hate to be a poser and get knock-offs... but that hasn't stopped me before I guess. The other problem with getting $6400 rims is when you get the first scratch, it hurts bad.

I hear you. Just like my thread...

That first scratch does hurt hahaha

I'm kind of partial to stuff that's used and rough around the edges, I think as a way to recover from the trauma of the first scratch. In my mountain biking days I used to immediately scratch a new bike just to get on with my life and not worry about scratches.

I don't like having to baby things too much.

    Rust can go fuck itself

Not a bad strategy to pre-scratch it haha. Yeah rust sucks! I got a few tiny spots on my truck, need to keep an eye on that.

My buddy who's always ordering from Japan says he might have an in on good prices for the TE37s. If I can get them for $1000 a wheel... wishful thinking I know. Kaley might veto that purchase anyway...

She's still not looking at my bank statements. So I could claim my bonus is $2000 smaller than it actually is and "say" I only used half of it.... lol

I have a separate bank account, she has hers, and we have a couple joint accounts. I just make sure to always be putting money in the joint account, she has no idea on my personal account. She knows I spend more than I let on :D

Just noticed this lol. I just tried the FM radio in my truck for the first time in 12 years of ownership!!

The reception is still quite good! Maybe it would drop off if I went outside the city though.

Yeah radio sucks. If it wasn't for kiddo or wife the radio would never be on in my truck either. 100% full time metal onslaught :headbang:

I got a tiny 120 GB USB the size of my thumbnail doing the same job.

Definitely not my entire library unfortunately but it does the trick.

I actually bought a second one for my work truck as well.
