Tongue in cheek switches are totally your style.

Looking forward to seeing the finality. I do like my switch panels so we'll see what spin you have on the idea.

It went well. Managed to do two logs almost two weeks ago and then sent them to Justin three or four days ago but have yet to hear back from him. I suspect with the regear my shifts are more quicker/jarring for the ecu to accurately provide fueling compared to before. The behaviour seems the same but it takes longer for the afr to stop spazzing out.

That's my guess. I didn't see anything else with the fuel flow or maf that would indicate they were an issue to my very untrained eye.

Also asked Justin to tune for 93 octane so just waiting to see about that and whatever else he may notice.

When I installed my red bullets I had to loosen some of the intake stuff so there is a possibility that I cured an intake leak when I put it back together but I honestly can't remember now if the symptoms improved after that or not.

Short answer. I think everything is fine but I could be very wrong.

    Nice patches

How do you like the motor mounts..... never really was sure if that was an upgrade for trucks with the swimmy rear end (leafs)....

definitely made a difference my dad's old supra though...

Hey buddy! Good to see you around again.

The motor mounts are awesome. Not much vibration difference and power to the wheels feel more solid.

The trans mount is also phenomenal with the manual trans, makes shifting feel more direct and accurate.

None of it seems to make a difference for how the rear end reacts though. Other upgrades would be better for that. Hammer hangers, better leafs/shocks, Caltracs, etc.

That's sweet. Seems like it's a steep price but what isn't

    Caltracs also look sweet

Yeah nice to be around but still ain't supercharged! Thought I'd come back on here to get some temptation

And I've ordered Icon rxt leaf springs and Elka 2.0 IFP front and rear struts/shocks for an approximately 2" lift to be done whenever I'll have time to install them.

Just finished painting a huge portion of the inside of my house.

And I've been in contact with the OP for the Kelford group buy since the thread went real quiet. He's informed me he paid the deposit and the cams should be getting ground so he'll be getting an update from Kelford.

The springs and shocks should make the ride nice and stiff! I'm assuming.

Hopefully. I just want a mild lift as I think the truck will look better and my rear leafs have been shot for a while now. Decided to get better than I probably need but they are the cheapest Elka shocks, built for corrosion resistance, and don't come out that much more expensive than going with other options.

So the verdict from Justin is that my AFR sensor has a good delay tracking the commanded value and is getting to end of life. Other than that everything was looking good to him.

Ordered Denso 234-5137 for a replacement and will have to fire that in soon.

Hahaha, sounds like a paid advertisement Mr 1 post mysteriously named John Doe. Do I get a cut? :boink:

I do love the R8 though, money well spent. I especially love how you can tell if the signal is coming from in front or behind you.

Lots of stuff in the works! Taking the truck in on Monday for full ceramic tint (except windshield) and tail light/cab brake light tinting. Still waiting on couple parts before I can start on the full suspension upgrade. Waiting for @Athlaos tensioner studs and then changing radiator and adding Aux fans to intercooler so I'll be set for a cool and comfortable summer and not worrying about the tensioner anymore.

And I just purchased a core block so I might have to start rounding up parts to build an engine. Guess I'll need an engine hoist now, eh?

Finished this piece to a good enough state. I'm no body man so there's imperfections and scratches showing through the paint a bit but it looks good enough that I'm happy with it and don't feel like spending a bunch more time on it making it perfect. Will have to start pre-wiring the Aux fans in to the Bussman relay or two.

    You purchased a short block!?

Man. I'm jealous. Just kidding, but not really.

It's a core that's in grade A shape apparently, just missing some exterior stuff. Purchased from a Lethbridge wrecker and going to be shipped for pickup in Cowtown in a week or two. $840 Canuck bucks plus approx $140 shipped. Would cost me almost that in fuel going to grab it myself plus the time and effort.

Now I'm worried the $$$ will start spiralling out of control Hahaha.
