You can drill the blank and it will fit, it just won't look very good. You can get a decent switch for less than 10 bucks. Search oem switch. Good luck.

Just have to pop the plate off to confirm fitment. The plate is actually smaller from the backside. Just don't 'overdrill' the hole. I did the same for my Hella's but opted for a lighted rocker switch. Probable replace it once I can find a factory type push button type switch.

Autozone and Advance Auto parts also sell a push button LED lighted switch that will fit the blank for about $10. Drawbacks: Doesn't look OEM, and it is lighted one color when lights are on and another when lights are off. Can be distracting.

Not to thread jack, but how hard is it to run wires to the switch if you were to put it near the A-Trac switch (just above the cup holders)

I want to do a satoshi and put lights behind it and then run the switch there, but i am nervous about how hard it might be.

    thanks,
    kbx

Do you have to take apart the console area, or how did you get the wires through to attach to the switch?

It is really easy. Took me about 5 minutes to wire up that area. I just used a coat hanger from the front blank and ran over to left under steering wheel. Then pulled the wires through all at once.

Just a note. Double check the size of the blanks in front of the cup holders, I believe they are slightly smaller than the ones on the left side of the steering column.
