    Sugar works pretty well for the tripoli guys. you did not mention the oxidiser used... so I left that out

    aluminium powder and Pban which also acts a fuel.. in solid fuel motors again just the fuel...

    hydrazine and liquid hydrogen, among others in liquid fuel motors

    Toyotas 1GR can actually put out slightly more horsepower with just a change in higher octane. The knock sensors are always reading the harmonics of the combustion and together with the ecu it will always try to advance the timing according to the available octane. Toyota actually tuned the motor to run on 91-93 octane. But can safely run on lower octane.
