Challenge Mode seems much more reasonable as they reduced the number of shotgunners in some enemy waves. Russian Consulate is still a beast tho as you try to get to the panic room.

 

Anyone have advice for getting the dr free when you're by yourself and have to survive 3 waves of people after going up the escalator and killing 5 people

Picked it up over the weekend for Xbone. I've played for a couple of hours now and I'm at lvl 6. Still learning the in's and out's

 

A group of guys I met in the DZ and I are thinking on rolling new toons and getting to level 14 really quick and then just fucking up everyone in the 10-14 bracket lol. We could easily loot the crap out of all the DZs and twink out and then just go Manhunt as many times as possible lol

 

Still trying to get past the thugs on my own to the doctors lol. Damn grad school

 

Seems like it takes a lot of shots to the head to take a bad guy down. The taking cover system is pretty cool but I'm having to get used to it. I keep popping my head up and getting waxed

 

Taking down regular guys i usually do with 1 headshot. It depends on the weapon, a good sniper rifle should drop most things with a headshot. If you're going after Elites it takes more. Purples i drop in 2-3 headshots, yellows usually take like 10 or so depending on level and what kind of shield they have. The big tank guys fuckin suck to kill, they have like a million hp, and I'm doing 50-80k headshots on them lol.

Good tactics I've learned with elites, grenades so you can get a little closer and get good headshots on them. A good LMG or assault rifle will tear down their shield quick, and then sniper them in the face

 

I solo DZ05 regularly. I'm using The Liberator with all gold attachments and the Pakhan with all gold attachments. Have a gold muzzle brake on each of them with max stability and headshots are dead on everytime. The Liberator will wear them down and I'll switch to the Pakhan and destroy them. Liberator is hitting for over 150K DPS and the Pachan is hitting for around 120 DPS. The Pakhan's clip is endless so I can keep them stunlocked for quite a while. But... Honestly it's getting boring just farming for shit that I either already have or isn't any better than what I've got. It's a shame you can get the best shit in the game in less than 3 weeks. Hell I soloed challenge mode and almost made it through by myself. I'm just disappointed in this game. It's so far from what they promised no matter what is coming next. It still isn't the same game.

 

Took down 4 rogues last night when I popped my special which mitigates 80% incoming damage for 15 secs. Armor is through the roof so unless they could get a headshot then they were done. Ranked up 2 DZ levels by killing them. Sticky bomb with flash is my friend. Blinds them and I'll just mow them down. DZ isn't scary at all.

 

My setup as of tonight, need to re-calibrate some gear still. could potentially lower my stamina and break 200k dps

 

What armor/health are you running?

 

I just unplugged my PS4 to take to work tomorrow. I know my DPS is over 150k and my health is sitting at 90k IIRC. I've balanced out my stats so I can have all the talents active on my weapons. I've got all gold everything so the armor is high. I'll just have to check tomorrow when I'm at work. When I'm running solo in the DZ I'm not worried about getting ganked. If it gets bad enough I'll pop my special and that gives me 15secs of pretty much invulnerability. They can shoot all they want but with my armor and 80% damage mitigation you're not going to take me down. If it is a group of other high levels I'll just hook my shit on the rope and shoot a blinding sticky bomb and run with the 30% speed boost. Then I'll come back and work them down.

 

I managed to complete the Lincoln Tunnel Checkpoint mission last night which was pretty fun. I also took your advice Craig and chose the Scavenging Perk. I'll be upping it whenever I can.

 

Yeah man you'll be surprised how much of a difference it makes especially in the DZ. it's rare that I don't come out of there without at least one gold item in DZ03 or above off a named boss. It may be something I already have or worse stats but hey... It's still gold
