CPS-65 I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.

Not myself, but a friend has run them twice and had issues with tread separations. I had written a post yesterday about how I have run nothing but BFGs on all my cars for over 30 years. KOs, Radial TAs, Comp TAs. They have all lasted a long time and performed well. We just changed a set on my wife's JK with 49K on them. They could probably go another year, but it was time for new ones. I'm running 275/70/17s on SEMA rims on my 19 TRD OR and love them. My daughter has Comp TAs on her Fiesta and loves them. All the tires mentioned above are good choices, I just prefer BFG and they have served me well.

I don't trust the Coopers after what I have seen. Could have been coincidence, but he had two different sets experience separation issues.

Man, I don't know. I researched the heck out of tires before I bought mine. I LOOKED for issues with the Coopers but found few.
I'm happy so far with the purchase, and I DID get all three things I wanted, including; they're a pound lighter than my stock Toyos, they're quiet, they're snow rated, they ride like a dream, and I think they look pretty good. I ran the KO2s on a Wrangler I had and those were definitely not as quiet as these.
Oh well, everyone is going to have they're own opinion. If these start to give me trouble I'll just change them out. It's only a tire.

If I ever get to build a garage it will have doors on both sides.

HAHAHAHA.....I was tempted! I've always ran white letters in the past but with this truck I wanted to try the blacked out look.
Black wheels, black emblems, removed the chrome from the tail lights, removed the chrome from the mirror lights, and WHITE LETTERING IN.

This is definitely a departure from my usual MO.

I've had 3 sets of the Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires and loved them. They're likely my next set of tires on this truck too. They're also great in the winter (definitely not a winter tire, but I'd argue they're the next best thing).

The only issues I ran into were completely not the tire's fault. First was wear issues related to my suspension up front. The wore great when the tires were in the back. Second was on my way home with the 3rd set. I ran over a nail in the road on the thinnest part of the tire. (The blue wasn't even off the letters yet). But it was literally the worst possible spot it could have hit. But the tire place patched it for free and gave me a replacement for free also.
