I don't get why it is in 2 pieces. Trying to get everything lined up and screws threaded in is maddening.

I will say, mine have taken some abuse quite well. Nothing up to the extreme of dragging or resting the truck on some rocks but they've got some good scratches in 'em. I think the Toyota engineers were envisioning drivers keeping the rubber on the rocks.

I would suggest against primer only. Primer is pretty pourous and won't keep moisture out. You'll develop rust quicker with it just primed even from just driving around in the rain. Just put a couple coats of actual paint on over the primer and you'll be good.

Got some stuff in the mail today:

    IMG_5019_zps450b6062_b9651518268b965aac8ca7df27071ab58772bb4a.jpg

Left to Right: New SWR meter since I'm tuning plenty of CBs these days, A Toytec diff drop kit to replace the old one, Toytec 1/2" top plate spacers to replace my 10mm spacers.

I bought the old diff drop kit awhile ago and recently saw some pictures of the TG and Toytec ones. The TG and Toytec ones seemed nicer with the big spacer pucks and skid plate spacers so I decided to replace the old one.

Once I get the BudBuilt skidplate in I'll see how much my front end dips and replace the 10mm spacer accordingly. Hoping I won't need it until after I get a winch installed.

It'll go much better this time. I promise.

If the Icon UCAs don't allow enough droop, will just unbolt the spindles at the LCAs.

    Easy-peasy!
