Haha I've given up on making plans for my next mod. My build hasn't gone as planned in the past 5 months!

Got the first coat of black on. My iPad does not take the best pictures. I'll break out the good camera when I get it done and mounted.

It is about the journey and not the destination.

On that note. A Marlin Crawler Lefty is shaping up to be THE major mod for this year. Figure while I'm in there, I'll do the flywheel myself and replace all the u-joints. Thinking I'm going to take a week off from work and take my time once the transfer case comes in. Have to go research ordering options.

    Finished watching the paint dry:

    Got it mounted up:

    IMG_6410_zps8baec7cb_9ace63b14c8718f6736c7dc5d056b2baa2b9cb1c.jpg

Somewhere in here I need to take it back apart and have backing nuts tack welded into the front skid mount at the bumper. Not the easiest to take off an install the way it is.

Hoping to get some day time pictures next weekend. I do like it better than the bare steel.

Hmmm, yeah. Something wrong with the truck. Have a lot of drag after letting up on the throttle. Have to do some testing this weekend. Current culprit list consists of:

    1. Gear oil not warming up enough.
    2. Rear brakes dragging.
    3. U-joint(s) trashed.
    4. Wheel bearing trashed.
    5. Maybe the transfer case or transmission.

    This may get interesting.

I've been trying to order a crawl box for the past couple of days. Marlin told me two month wait time. Been trying to get a hold of inchworm but they are relocating. 1st gen problems.

    Finished the 35s

The 35s look bad-ass! I already left a post on your build thread.

I figured the wait time on the Lefty would be a good bit. Was hoping to the drivetrain from the transfer case on back would hold together until I got it in. Have some drag issues going on, I may have to tear it apart earlier than I hoped and deal with tearing it apart again later on for the Lefty.

Might get some more later today when the shadows aren't. Also going to re-do the door panel fasteners.

Re-did the door panel fasteners since a couple broke during the sound proofing job:

    Start:
    IMG_6419_zps7303985c_4df01812373135fdc1bc74a2d483215372344dfd.jpg

    Got the door panel off:

Cut away the sound proofing from the fastener holes:

    The old fasteners:

The new ones to go in:

    IMG_6428_zps43ecfa5a_0de8d269e68b5d66f75ddc288a32ac70cf64c2e8.jpg

    And panel back on:

Thanks, Scott. Went much easier getting them back on since I remembered to remove the little triangle panels.

Next thing I need to do is replace the dash lights that are burnt out. Then I need to figure out how to get the front bumper mounted correctly in prep for a winch.
