Excellent! Hopefully you and your fam are enjoying the Softopper. It is easy to make a brake life for it with some OneWrap velcro and a LED strip. I have some leftover if you would like?

I will definitely let you know. With the snow melting, it is going to be time to hit some trails.

Would a good tune file negate the need for something like Pedal Commander?

Yes! The PC solves only one of the issues with the Stock tune. The Tunes solve several issues and are tailored to your setup.

I have flashed a lot of folks with PCs. The ones that kept it after the flash end up ditching it in a short while.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Little review for @tonered !

When I first got my truck about 2 years ago I had it tuned, assuming it couldn't be done in slightly wrong way.
Hit up Tony a couple months ago, as I put on some Ov Tune dump tubes, and was getting a check engine light as they provide more flow/freaks my o2 sensors out.
Come to find out, my Ecu wasn't unlocked (I'm not sure on all the specifics, but should've been unlocked). Another issue was my throttle tip in, borderline sounded like it was going to blow the rear end up with how sensitive it was off the line/trying to drive through parking lots.
No idea what tune I actually had, but the man Tony got me all squared away. Made a tune to get my Cel light off (now have cruise control again, lifesaver) and now the truck runs and shifts smoother than ever. Not running the ideal setup (stock gears/35s) but it drives pretty dang well now and shifts the best I think it can via my setup. Truck is also a lot more controlled in 4low, I can actually ease into the throttle instead of basically on and off throttle.
Tony's super communicative, honest, and trust worthy to the point where I'd let him take my truck wheeling if he asked and if he wanted to go beat it up

    Thanks, @Buttskevin21 !

I am glad that you are sorted out now. That extra control when out having fun is so nice to have.

Heck, yeah. Let's get out some time. I'd enjoy seeing you take the good lines while I pucker over the other stuff.

Another review and recommendation, @tonered made it super easy and he is a great dude in general. Love the tune, feels much more like it *should* now. Admittedly have not put that many miles on it yet but on both the highway and around town it felt much much better. Thanks man

I thought I'd eventually try the DIY route with the vF tune, but now that I stumbled on this thread with all the raving reviews, I'm sold. PM incoming!
