@ninernation and I have met up in the past. We were just waiting on the tune update. Like you know though, YotaWerx is goodness and will get those same updates when they happen.

tonered just loaded up the yotowerx tune and it is night and day better. The throttle is more sensitive and the shift points are greatly improved. Going over the pass yesterday was a much nicer experience.

    thanks tony

    Yeah, Travis. You're welcome!

It's great to get some solid improvements for built Tacos like yours. That's on 87 octane also. :D

Is there a MT specific YotaWerx tune? My truck feels like a fat pig even with Ovtune. Do you feel like there is a performance gain to be had switching from OV to YotaWerx?

I have been testing and running the YotaWerx Tunes since the beginning of the year.

There is definitely more kick to the YW Tunes. There are specific MT and AT versions. You'll see posts from @TACO-TY and @NomadicCypress in this thread.

The vF Tunes do a lot of excellent things and the YotaWerx Tunes are a great enhancement of them.

Like Travis said, it is a very nice upgrade. More low end and smoother through the rev range. @msgs350 and @Bertw192 are rocking the YotaWerx 5.29 version also.

Note that the YotaWerx July 4th sale is still going on. Hit up @mZiggy at yotawerxtuning@gmail.com to get the files. You can get them to any vF Tuner to update your Taco.

Send a pic of your VIN, the octane that you typically use, tire diameter, diff gear situation, and if you are AGM or not.

Sending the VIN as text is more convenient, purely for copy-paste reasons.

The .com won't work unfortunately, still finishing up the website.

    Email will work though: yotawerxtuning@gmail.com

No doubt, but I have been doing this to save transcribe errors. Folks can get their VIN in a PDF a few different ways, but that gets even less fun to explain. Hahaha!

My own process for my records is to screenshot the vF Flash Tool and type them into my spreadsheet as a back up in case anything ever happens.

The throttle is a lot more sensitive and the gear changes seem to be managed better. I went up snoqualmie pass for the first time in mostly 5th gear since I have owned the truck. My MPG was down a couple for the first tank and seems to have leveled out since. This is the first "tune" that I have noticed significant changes.

The last day for the YotaWerx Tune sale is tomorrow. Lemme know if you need details, help, or a flash.

    Thanks!
