One suggestion I would make for any new customers: Assemble the entire rack upside down on a flat surface, then flip the whole thing over and put it on the truck.

I did that initially but didn’t have help. Also if the 4 mounting points aren’t exact you have to take the whole thing off again, disassemble the bed rails to free up the brackets to make adjustments. At least with it in several pieces it’s easier to maneuver solo. If you have a helper then assemble it whole and install.

I normally drag the old lady off the couch by the hair, I don't care what episode of Chopped or Dr Pol is on.

You said you purchased the mid height. I"m assuming that's the 14" version for the short bed unless you purchased the 10" Max Modular Taco (since there are no 14" options). Also did you get the Max Modular Taco, Steel, or Aluminum version? Thanks for the pictures and info/install information!

He has the 10" TACO Max, 46" long.

Now, back to my Bob Seger videos on YouTube.

@KB Voodoo Will this solution work with the BAK Revolver X2/X4? It's the "rolling" kind of cover, not the folding/flipping kind. It would be nice to be able to roll the cover up with the bed rack on but I also wouldn't mind rolling the cover-up or leaving it rolled down when using a bed rack. Extra points if you have pictures. TIA!

Yes, it will work, but I’m not sure if your cover will roll up past the legs of the rack.

Rear visibility doesn't look bad, even with the 10" rack. Of course, the tonneau brackets don't hurt.
