I recently purchased an Extang trifecta 2.0 folding tonneau cover. It was my first time installing one, it was very easy.Just had to line it up and install a few brackets and add padding to the bed head rail. The directions did not state the exact location to line up the front/back of the tonneau. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to move it closer to the cab or not. I was hoping someone could give me some advice on this. Here are some pictures.

    Thanks

I have the extang solid fold 2.0 and it's a pain cause it moves no matter how much I tighten it. But what I've learned is that moving up a little more is better I think all you have to do is move it up a little more on the left and level it with the other side and you should be fine. Make sure you take it off from time to time and clean that area cause it leaves scuff marks and doesn't look good.

I have the same cover and mine tended to move towards the rear over time. The only way to stop it was to adjust the brackets forward a bit on the rails.

Freakin obvious I know, but it works.

I have the gator tri-fold. Looks very similar. I'm getting 1mpg better too. 21 mpg on the highway.
