Just got my tonnopro trifold delivered today and when getting in put on the truck I wasn't sure how tight to set the clamps. It seems like I could keep turning/tightening it a long ways but the "instructioms" warn not to over tighten. Any feedback on this?

Also, it came with a free tailgate seal but I'm not really sure where this would install on our trucks.
    Thanks

I installed my cover about a month ago (TonnoPro tri-fold). I tightened the clamps so that the frame gasket just was compressed maybe 1/8" or less. So far so good, it certainly hasn't come off or slid around any.

I also got the tailgate seal but didn't install it. It looks like it's intended to go on the tailgate, plugging the gap between it and the bed. At the time it looked like it would be in the way and easy to damage. Now that the weather's turned warmer I might take another look at it to see if I can make it work. I'm not overly concerned about keeping the bed dry so it isn't a big deal to me if I don't get it to work.

I have had the same cover for about a year now and am pleased with it. I used the provided tape on the cab side cause I was getting the slightest bit of water in there. I just tighten it down so that it's snug and you're good to go. I also like how easy it is to remove when I need to haul larger stuff and need the whole bed. Good luck!
