It needs a padded envelope. :) It would tear through a regular envelope as it gets processed by the postal sorting machines. It's happened to me before.

Gee, if only someone around here already had TW Vendor status, a website, and an already extant order fulfillment process. :D

I would feel bad charging people for those, unlike the dealer who can't wait to commit pure unadulterated rape on someone who lost a bolt.

$88.00... That really is ridiculous. Wonder how they came up with that cost?

    Crazy!
Here's my 2 cent idea... look into an aftermarket cover.
Lots of great options that are much better than stock.
Sell your stock cover (sold mine for $450) to mitigate the cost.

Except when they're not. I looked at all the aftermarket options and chose to order the OEM as the best solution to *my* needs.

Different folks have different needs/preferences. Don't assume yours are the same as others.

No, I'm perfectly satisfied with my choices. I do find thread-crapping to be a bit annoying, and will sometimes respond to misleading/overgeneralized statements such as occurred here.

Thread crapping? It was an opinion. Notice I said "my two cents"... do you even understand what that means? That means it's not worth much. Were you voted most socially awkward in your high school year book? MUST be a millennial.
    Sad.

Yes, thread-crapping. The rest of your petulant (and inaccurate) rejoinder doesn't merit response.

"Thread crapping" is a term you made up.. and you just did respond... or do you not realize this?

Found the OEM tonneau cover to best suit my needs as well. Did a lot of research into different types of covers and eventually narrowed it down to rollup covers and foldable ones. Not being able to remove the rollup covers eventually ruled them out for me as 1ft of space to lose on a 5ft bed is a big deal to me. Then when looking at the aftermarket tri-fold options in person at multiple vendor locations, I just wasn't satisfied with their quality and the way they operated. Not to mention the drain tubes you usually need to set up and the additional railing that may need to be placed in which no longer allows you to use your trucks rail system for bed cleats or other common tasks. Not to mention the aftermarket tonneau covers usually tend to be almost double the cost of the OEM one that you may find people selling. There are some great aftermarket covers that may suit your needs better in terms of accessibility and functionality, but for me the OEM cover fit the bill and I'm glad I was finally able to find one.

Hmm, hate to step in here but pretty sure he was referring to not responding about the "socially awkward" bit. He never said he wasn't responding about the thread crapping portion as you've inferred.
