Tonneau Cover for SR5 Trail edition w/ storage boxes

Does anyone know what Hard Tonneau Cover fits the 2021 SR5 Trail Edition?

Every cover I've found online either says "Excluding Trail Edition", and if it doesn't explicitly say it, it has the same mounting hardware as the rest.

Help! I really want a hard Tonneau but like the boxes as well.

A tonneau that doesn’t relocate the rails should work. Lomax is what I have but I took the boxes out.

 

Did you ever find a tonneau cover that fits the trail edition without removing the storage boxes?

 

Most (if not all) folding tonneau covers are not going to work with the storage boxes because they have latch handles that hook onto brackets (which slide into the rails), and the latch handles need about 6” of space to push them down at a 90* angle from the cover. So the storage boxes will be in the way. Maybe one of those rolling tonneau covers would work, but I don’t know how they lock.

 

I did find one that fits, unfortunately it is the factory tonneau, I was trying to avoid it, but it does work.

 

if you remove the coolers, any cover will fit!

 

Old thread ... but I just purchased a 2023 tacoma trail edition with the boxes... unfortunately no factory bedcover... has anyone ever discovered a hard locking bedcover that is compatible with the bed boxes? Thanks in advance
