Tonneau Cover Pricing

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys knew what a reasonable price for a waterproof/ leakproof tonneau cover would cost for a 5 ft bed ?

 

To answer your question with the information you have given. Somewhere between $175 and $2500.
And I doubt anything is 100% leak proof.

 

Depends: $400-$1,200+. Also the covers I’ve owned were only weather resistant.

 

Gonna be selling mine if the fella next week decides he doesn't want my rugged liner, getting a softtopper. Located in GA.

 

I have the Extang Trifecta on my 6' bed. Its not totally waterproof but suits my needs. I just get a little dripping at the front end of the bed, some additional weatherstripping would solve it I'm sure. Was less than $500 Canadian, so like $20 USD?

OP I'm on the same boat as you. After reading and researching I am going to grab the Diamondback SE. I really wanted the OEM but my dealer is saying they can order the cover but all those little clips are separate and I can't find the part numbers for them.

 

I’m interested if he doesn’t show. Got any pics ?

 

Leak proof

 

I didn't pay for it since it was on the truck when I bought it but I have a Roll-N-Lock which is metal underneath and vinyl on top, they're about $1700 as I researched. It hooks to the tailgate when closed so you only have to lock it with the key and it will secure the tailgate as well as neither will open with the cover closed and locked. It leaks a little at the corners of the tailgate but other than that its largely dry in the bed even driving in a full on Florida summer thunderstorm.
