Tonneau cover pros and cons?

    It's a FoldaCover. Not the best pics but you get the idea. Nice thing about the cover is that I get zero leakage.

    I've been pretty happy with my Bakflip Fibermax. Relatively easy install, very little water seepage (not enough to call it leakage), sturdy. And even though I have no tailgate lock on my 2nd gen, it keeps things out of sight and seems to prevent casual thievery. Huge upgrade over a naked bed for ski trips, or with racks over the bed rails for other gear and stuff stowed dry and safe below. Also neat when you're going to the dump with all your yard clippings and you just close the tonneau, no need to wrestle a tarp.

    this tonneau I had on my 2012 trd sport, then on my 2016 limited, now on my 2018 trd pro, not bad for 6 years to owned this tonneau ( pace Edwards full metal jackrabbit).

    You must live in a warm climate? My roll up would freeze up so I ended up selling it.

    no , I live in Indiana and we do have snow , ice, just tap on the tonneau hard to break the ice.

    The cover I had was a RollnLock and it would constantly freeze. If I washed the truck when freezing there was no way I was getting in. The lock tumbler would also freeze.

    to takecare that im portant, be4 winter come , I spray fluid film under the tonneau( not top) that wont freez. and other thing driving will move truck bed, so sometime I have to readjust the tonneau.
