    Yep
What do people think about Tonneau covers for a 2016 Sport?

The OEM cover is descent, but the plastic is fading out, I have a hinge that tweaked and I have had the second end cap at the fold break in a year. I like that it seals really well and is very secure ( I think is a Diamond Back) but all the plastic is wearing out and its getting very annoying .

I put a Back Flip on my old Prerunner. It was easy enough to install, but I did have to cut away at the bed liner.

I would like something that is secure, easy to install with existing rails and wont have a bunch of cheesy plastic parts that break off in a couple years.

    Stock and staying that way
New seals and some cerakote trim wipes will have it looking new for ~$100 and an hour or two of your time.

The front two hinge covers are part number 6497104011, and the rear single hinge cover is 6497204011.

The problem is that I don't need the hinge cover. I need the hinge itself. The rod is kinked and now there is a lump where the back closes. I tore it apart today. The rod that is kinked cannot be replaced. I would nedd the entire hitch assembly and from what I can tell that is six hundred bucks or more.

    To add.

I feel like a primary part of the security of any Tonneau cover is that you cannot see what is in the bed, so perps don't know if its worth the risk of breaking into. Kind of like don't leave valuables or electronics visible in the cab.

That said, it comes down to security, fit, durability and look. In the hard top category you can pay from $650 (Gator)- to $1,300 (Diamond) $550 from the new kids on Ebay

Look for a nice used one. I bought a new one from a person who put a cab on. It was used for about a month after he purchased the truck. Scored it for $250 and put it aside for a rainy day, either for a full replacement of mine or parts. Mine is going on 4 years old and looks like new and the protective coating has kept it new looking.

Cool. Where did you find it?

I am eyeing the Rugged HC3. They appear to be discontinued, I may have snagged the last one. As well, some folks say it may not fit, but Rugged says it will.

Hopefully my order goes through and it does fit.
