Pace Edwards bedlocker (electric) works great.

Quick and easy installation using the factory bed rail. It can be removed fast. Solid material. Keeps rain out pretty well. Built in LED lights on the last tri fold on the tailgate end.

I got what I considered to be a good deal from a local shop on a Leer Trilogy X2T. They wanted $200 to install it though, so I did it myself. The instructions weren't great, but the installation itself was pretty straightforward. All in all, it took me about two hours, but a lot of that was adjusting one of the striker plates that didn't want to play nice for some reason. Now that I have it adjusted, it locks in easily all around.

I'm impressed with the build quality and I think it looks great on the truck. Even though it installs into the rails, the factory tie downs do still work, which was a nice surprise. I can see a bit of light coming through in the corners near the cab, so we'll see how much water comes in, if any. They did include some additional weather stripping that I didn't see mentioned in the instructions, so it's possible that it's supposed to go there.

Looks real nice man! Grandfather always had Leer products on his trucks back in the day and I know he thought highly of the company.

Yeah that installer tried sticking it to you. I'm in southeastern Illinois and $75.00 installed is the norm.

The dealer knocked off $20 when I said I'd install my Access myself. Glad I did cause I added a couple extra washers under the rails to get them level. Dealer wouldn't have done that.

Not a review, but I just ordered from realtruck.com and got a pretty good discount on the new Bak Revolver X-4. MSRP: 1019.88 and I chatted with them and tonneafactoryoutlet.com, pitched them against each other. Real Truck's best offer was $900 shipped. TFO was $889.89 or something shipped maybe $899.00. Either way, I have a much better feeling about realtrucks ability to get it to me as soon as they start shipping, so I ordered from them.

TLDR: don't just order, ask for a discount and you will most likely get one!

Thanks bud. Yea, it's funny because the installed price wasn't bad but for the hell of it I asked what it would be without installation and I was shocked at the difference.

And if you buy a Lund tonneau by 9/30, you may qualify for a $75 rebate:
    https://lirebates.com/WebAPI/rebateforms/7a121a3c-240c-46d8-acec-2b143aca7c8f.pdf

I bought a Lund 958186 BLK Genesis Elite Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for my TRD for $266.99 without knowing about this rebate. If I get the rebate, that makes it a steal!

I'm still looking for a soft cover that rolls all the way up and can be clipped in place like on my Tundra. I need all six feet to be usable, and cannot see the point (for me) to have a folding hard tonneau cover that steals a lot of room. Any suggestions? I looked at one TygerAuto offers (T1 Soft Roll Up Tonneau Cover 6ft) and it's only $190.00. I was good to go, then saw that small holes will need to be cut for vehicles equipped with Over-the-Bedrail bedliner to secure the clamps.

Anybody have a recommendation for a hard cover that uses the existing rails and is low profile? I have some bed molle panels for organizations and can't move the rails. I was looking at Extang Solid Fold 2.0. Any other thoughts?

The extang or rugged liner were my two back up plans, i went encore for front of bed access which I like but could easily do without if push came to shove.

I really like my retraxOne XR. The t-slots in the rails are great. Only water intrusion I get is from the corner of the tailgate...

We can second the RetraxXR models. The T-slot rails work excellent with some big named overland racks.

    Extang Encore Tonneau
I've got an Extang Encore, and find the front opening option to fit my needs perfectly. I also like that it can easily be removed or replaced by one person without tools in a matter of seconds. The front section's lock being keyed to match my ignition key is another of my favorite features.

Each person needs to decide what is important for their situation. There is no one size fits all. :anonymous:
