I just see downward views. I'm wondering how it looks eye level with the bed rail. No biggie.

Installed the Access Vanish roll up today. Minor issues as noted above with getting the back down tight on the tailgate, but otherwise an easy install. Side cleats still usable, great price and quick delivery from Real Truck.

Pace Edwards is offering a new tonneau cover for the 3rd gen. It's a retractable tonneau cover, supposedly made for trucks with small beds. The canister is smaller to avoid taking too much space of the already small bed. I guess it is easy to remove as well to have full access to the bed.

Also for a retractable cover it is reasonably priced.

What do you guys think? Anyone have any further knowledge of this cover?

Predator bars, Revolver X2 tonneau cover, SwingCase tool box, Husky mats, HID conversion Fuel vapor 17” wheels, 2” front /1” rear lift with Bilstein 5100’s, 285/70R17 Nitto grappler 2’s
Seems to be pretty well built and the price isn't bad at all, but I'm not crazy about the hump on the front. I guess I just like the appearance of the smooth cover from front to back. I'm still holding out for the Bakflip revolver x2, but I may just be more picky than most.

Nice looking truck! How did the rails for the access cover seal at the last six inches towards the tail gate. Seen other picks of the rails where they did no sit flush on the bed near the tail gate.

yeah, it actually does really well. It rained really hard, like Dallas is flooded all over, and the bed wasn't terrible. It isn't perfect though.

Thanks, Befun. How did the rails seal at the flair shown above. This seems to be the problem area. I guess the seal has to transition from inside the bed to on top of rhe bed at this point. A pic would be greatly appreciated.

I have the OEM tonneau cover and like others have posted it fits tight around the entire bed with the exception being at the tailgate. For whatever reason it seems to sit a little high and not get a full seal. Drove about 180 miles in the pouring rain the other day and it sat for a few hours in the rain. Checked the bed for leaks when I got home and the inside of the tailgate and bed near the tailgate were a little wet but everything else from about 6 inches towards the cab were dry. Its not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but its not terrible. I wasn't looking for the tonneau cover to begin with, the truck came with it, but I will say years ago I owned a Ford Ranger with one of the hydraulic hardshell tonneau covers and I HATED it. Bed acted more like a trunk than truck bed. This I can deal with. If it needs to be completely dry it should probably be kept in the cabin with the factory cover.

I had a Pace Edwards on my 2012 and loved it. It was the electric bedlocker version (link below) that could open and stop in any position. I called Pace Edwards directly to tell them of the cutouts on the rails from the factory OEM tonneau. They had their engineers build out supplementary instructions for the install of a truck that came with the OEM tonneau. I just placed my order and look forward to having it on my new truck. If anyone in the Dallas area is interested in purchasing the OEM tonneau for a short bed shoot me a PM.

Thanks for the reply BeFun. I was actually more interested in how the side rails seal to the bed when bolted on. Several installs seem to have a gap where the rails seal against the bed at the point where it flares in.
