Tonneau Cover Stuck

Anyone know offhand what needs to be done to fix this? Really crappy timing for the bed of my truck to not be able to be open as I’m in the middle of moving into a house that i’m in the process of renovating.
The spring the pulls the handle back in the middle section that retracts the hook is not coming back. So The latch is not disengaging.

 

There is a piece inside the box that allows the handle to maintain tension and spring back and pull open. I had the same thing happened a couple of years ago. You can take the plastic covers off to get the handle to operate and open the cover, but the entire handle has to be replaced. It’s not just a part. It’s literally a 5 minute job to swap out the part. I tried to fix it myself by rigging the parts back together, but the issue kept happening so I had it warrantied out. I asked the dealership if they could just order the part for me so I could install but in order to be warrantied, they had to install it. They never even pulled the truck into the shop, the manager came out and installed himself so I could be in and out.
