Take a look at the Bakflip Revolver X2

I have it and it’s been great. You end up lowering the bed rails but then younhave full access to them and can definitely use the cleats.

I have a Lund Genesis Elite trifold. Fabric on a metal frame. Very nice. I paid $349 on Amazon. I see it is now being sold there for $299. No drilling or truck alterations to install.
I can provide further details if you wish.

Don't know if it's the same on a 3rd Gen, but My Access Rollup Cover let me keep the bed rails and cleats...and even the bed divider with a little modification...IMG_2531.jpg

Been looking at roll up tonneaus and also want to be able to use the cleats. All the Extang soft roll ups are top rail mount (as opposed to side mount), allow use of the cleats, and have low profile clamps that don't protrude much beyond the cleats. Most of the low profile models (regardless of manufacturer) have side mounting. Good luck with your search.

The Lo Pro is great and it will last. Yes, it allows you to use the cleats.

I have the Retrax Pro roll up . Full use of the cleats and the bed divider (moved its clamping knobs to the bottom).

Diamondback has arguably the best covers out there and includes external cleats as well, with varying numbers depending on the model (internal cleats still accessible). I have the SE model and it is fantastic. Can give details, otherwise there are threads about these covers.

I bought a bakflip and while it works great i was VERY dissapointed with the quality control. Mine came with damage to the panels, rubber seals that looked EXTREMELY weathered and it didnt align properly towards the front. I had to make a big adjustment to get it to tie down.
