Did the Gator FX make the rails unusable? I have seen other posts saying the EFT takes up the entire rail system. Wondering if the same is true for the FX?

So I have the MX4 installed on my rig now and I just had a company inspect my install because I was still getting quite a bit of water in the bed. They installed some added foam along the sides and bulkhead but pointed out that there are two pretty good sized spaces that are letting in a lot of water on either side of the bulkhead. Below are some photos. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to fill in these gaps?IMG_3660.jpg

For anyone that installed the Gator FX can I get a look at the clamps that came with it? My clamps do not match the instructions nor do they seem to make any sense at all. These are all i got.

Those look the same as my MX4. They are basically the same product, if I recall correctly. I believe these are for the rail relocation?

The cover rails? They seem incomplete. I couldn’t find a video online of a Tacoma install/these clamps.

These slide into the tonneau rail. These are to relocate the Tacoma bed rails and also secure the tonneau rail to the truck. Here are some photos.

You slide them onto the tonneau rail and then bolt them to the truck bed rail holes. Next you mount the Tacoma bed rails to those.

Before you get too far into that I recommend buying some foam for the sides. I had to take mine off and get foam on there because it leaked.

Did it leak where the bed cover rails are seated on the sides of the bed?

Yeah a little bit. It may have been a little bit defective because it didn’t cover all the channels on the bed very well.

most of my water comes from the back of the bed and there are two holes. Apparently there are rubber/plastic stoppers for them but they were pretty spendy from the dealer.
