To install this cover I took out the bolts from the rail system then reinstalled it with the tonneou cover behind it. When i purchased the system from autoanything.com it came with spacers and bolts to securely fasten the rail and cover to the truck bed. I can still use all three rail systems and now I have a nice cover too! If needed I'll try to get some pics on here. hope it helps!

sorry for just jumping in guys there is just a few pages with a lot to read and i didn't really see much about to two that I'm interested in unless i missed it haha.

anyway just wondering if anyone has either a fold-a-cover tonneau or a bak flip tonneau cover?

I'm looking at both because they are hard covers and they bother seem to get out of the way pretty well when need be. but has anyone had any experience with either? and if so do you like it?

also are they any other hard folding covers you all would suggest?

In the beginning i was told about the Bakflip g2 i think its called, it looks like a very good tonneau cover but then i was hearing stuff like it leaks and what not, but so far out of all the tonneaus EXCEPT the hard 1 piece ones , im told they all leak some water. But out of all the fold types the Bakflip seems choice!

well I'm not really worried about the leaking all that much it honestly doesn't rain very much here haha. i just want a "trunk" cuz i have a single cab and i seriously can not fit anything in my truck its a pita especially when i have my guitar/amp and someone else trying to ride with me the cover would be nice.

but i like the fact that it folds up out of the way for the use of the whole bed.

its kinda pricey but idk i think its worth it i wana see if i can find a place in town that is an authorized dealer and see what they say about them.

Yeah the Bakflip is top of my list, all you would need on top of that is a pop n lock and you got yourself a huge trunk!

"Extang Solid Fold"! super strong and light weight. Put on / off in about 30 secs with one person and no tools. Super secure especially with tailgate lock

Sorry for posting late but just installed the previously unmentioned retraxpro 10 days ago. Spent more time than I care to admit researching covers. It's still fairly new having been released last fall I believe by the company that makes the original retrax. It's a retractable cover that is honestly probably overbuilt, but I wanted something that would last. I lost about 10" in bedlength but w/ the 6' bed i don't believe it should be a big issue. It's USA-made, easy to use and install and has the best warranty of all retractables, not to mention friggin' sharp-looking. Sorry no pics yet but u can find them easily @retrax.com:D

All covers have pros and cons. I have the Undercover and I'm happy with it.

If you're looking for a good site that gives the ins and outs of the different types and styles of tonneau covers then I'd advise you check out Hitch Anything.

Before I got my Leer I had the Undercover Classic. It was simple and easy to install. It's hanging in my garage; maybe someday it will go back on.

Just got a Tonno Pro Tri Fold form carid.com! $269 shipped and get this, it looks and is water tight as my friends Extang. Took less than 10 minutes to install and they even send some tail gate weather stripping and cleaner.

Ive got the Truxedo Truxport Tonneau Soft Cover.
It fits well and has a low profile.
Not sure if I will stick with this or go with a full shell.
