Thanks for the pics and the truck looks great dude!

I'm in the same boat, it comes with my package and they refused to remove it so screw
it I'm stuck with it at well. Odd that there's a gap, thought the cover was supposed to keep
    water out of the bed.

Manual says "Deck area is not waterproof, so take care when transporting items which
may be damaged by water." Seems to defeat the purpose of a cover.

They will go as a wheel and tire package in about 2 weeks for around 800. I'll probably start at 900 for Craigslist. Tires only have 800 miles on em.

Sam B. Because I'm in love with ur truck(I'm a month and a half away from getting the same just in 4X4!) I'm sharing this info. Retrac. My Dad has it on his 2015 GMC Sierra and it looks and works so great it will be going on my Taco when it gets here. Worth a look into.

Good discussion... Will definitely be looking at the Bakflip cover... seems to be a good one. Also, anyone thinking of putting LED strips under the rails? that's something on my father in law's new F150 that i really like. I'm sure the mod would be the same as on 2nd gen, just curious if others are thinking of doing it?

What would the purpose be for the LED strips? Rails on the bed side?

Internally. Since the cover keeps sun light out or even at night you can illuminate the truck bed inside.

Yea, that would be cool.... like when your out in the middle of the boondocks catfishing! I can see that. It really stands out with the white bed. I guess it depends on if you are planning to use the bed at night. would be really helpful when moving bodies!!!!! LOL
