Tonneau Cover

I purchased a 2019 Tacoma with a Tonneau Cover, it will be parked in the sun all day, I was wondering if there is anything I can put on it to protect it from the hot AZ sun?

 

I use 303 UV protectant. It’s been fine so far and mine is outside all the time in TX

 

This, use it on my undercover elite and it's great stuff.

303 Protectant. Don't mess with anything else. Use it everywhere from dash to rubber mouldings. I use it everytime I wash the truck. Check Amazon .
The shop that installed the tonneau recommended this.
Don't forget good wax too. If you're not the type that likes to wax, have it ceramic coated to protect it from UV.
I've been to AZ. Man, the heat in summer is NASTY.

 

I am also in AZ and I coat mine with 303. Doesn't attract the dust for some strange reason. Good stuff!

I tried ceramic coating my OEM cover but the product flaked off. Be careful!

 

Never heard anyone ceramic coating a tonneau cover. I'd just have that to protect the paint .
Tonneau covers are aluminium or fiberglass.

Since new, used 303 on the tonneau and hasn't faded a single bit.

Your truck looks great! What size lift and tires are you running?

 

My whole truck is done. It's an offroad w/black modeling all around, roof rack and all. As long as they apply it correctly, it does great. I did the 9H w/4 coats on mine because my buddy is a dealer/licensed to do it. Ceramic Pro has the plastic version for all the molding and tonneau & it's held up great for 34 months.

Thanks! I installed a 2 1/2 inch lift in the front and a 1 inch in the back. The wheels 17” Fuel cupplers, the tires are Nitto Ridge grapplers, 285/70R/17

 

I use ArmourAll but been reading that Mothers Back to Black is even better supposedly.
