I just installed the Extang Solid Fold 2.0. Had to intercept the UPS driver via live tracking so it didn't get stolen from my doorstep HAH. Neighborhood is not that bad, but just wanted to make sure.

Waterproofing: I have not tested rain yet but should be about average, some water will get through on this.
Installation: Install is as easy as it gets. Only a small packet of hardware and no modifications needed.
    Rail use is fully functional.
Durability: It is about as durable as my old Avalanche Tonneau which I love.
Appearance: I love the high profile appearance. Makes it look a little more beefy, a lift would complement this cover.
Security: Depends on taking the time to tighten down the clamps/brackets more, and could improve even more with retrofitted parts -- but without much effort definitely deters the passer-by thief IMO. (I don't even keep anything in there, I just don't want snow in my bed all the time)

I love it, I don't think there is anything out in the market better suited for my own needs. That is my review!IMG_7733.jpg

Just installed the T3 yesterday. The bed rails definitely remain usable. Seems like a pretty decent product for the price, though it'll only hold 30lbs on top so I'll probably end up upgrading down the road.

Can you open the gate with the back panel down? How is the back latched?

I have seen youtube videos where people have modified the Peragon cover brackets to slide into the deck rails so that you don't have to remove them. It's another possible option if you like the look/function of Peragon.

Sorry for the delayed response, but it is latched down by the brackets mounted to the rail, and the pull-down latch from the tonneau cover on both sides.

Towards the nose of the bed, the brackets and latches are more permanent and they decide the positioning of the whole cover, so has to be set accordingly.

Whereas towards the tailgate you can easily hook/unhook the latches from the brackets. You can adjust the tightness of the tonneau here. And when you unhook these, you can fold the tonneau up in 3 parts into the open position, and have bed access for the most part.

    Spendy but worth it.
You can carry 1200 lbs on top of the HD model.

Just installed a Diamondback SE on my 2019 Tacoma Pro. Factory tie downs and rails all stay in place with the only modification being you remove the caps on the rear rail and the last T30 bolt to install the plates for the rear panel to latch to. You use the same T30 bolt hole. Everything else stays the same. Took some time to adjust everything but would highly recommend this cover. NO drilling, moving rails, cutting bed caps etc. image0.jpg image1(1).jpg image0(1).jpg

How does it handle the gap at the tailgate? My 2015 has at least a 1/2 inch drop between the top rail and tailgate top.
