Tonneau Straps

Hi guys, does anyone know where I could replace this piece? The right side apparently has a broken tab, just noticed now. Also how would you install the new piece? Do I need to remove the rivet?

 

It doesn't look like that clip is a standalone part. But I'm not parts expert. Notice that the diagram under the link below, shows it as 64919A, but if you click that part, it pulls up the entire assembly. Which leads me to conclude it's not sold separately.

You best bet would be to find a broken cover that can be used for parts. Try scrap yards. Maybe a Tacoma with a tonneau got rear ended...

After that, I'd drill out the rivet and reinstall with a new rivet.

Edit: Maybe it is available... confirm this is the part with a dealer...

Just realized it's $30 for a buckle?!

 

I just found this procedure from a Toyota Technical Service Bulletin. Thanks to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. I plan to order one and give it a try.
