I just got mine in the mail today. Installation was as advertised, very very simple. For the price you cant go wrong. I do have one complaint though, the vinyl top seems to be a very tight fit which causes the Tonneau not to sit flat. It is raised towards the tailgate and even when locked it is lifted slightly. Anyone one else have this problem and if so were you able to figure out how to stretch vinyl out?

Park it in the sun for a while, then tighten the rear clamps up a bit.

So far so good. I pretty happy with the purchase compared to the others. I personally like the vinyl look than that hard Fiber glass ones. There are little things though that I'm not too happy with. Clamps to close are plastic, so you have to be careful when fastening. Joint in the middle of the cover is not completely flush so you can see a slight bump in the middle of the cover. The Pro's definitely out weigh the cons though especially for the price. We just got over a pretty heavy rain storm and cover stood it's ground like a champ. No leaks at all. Goes through a car wash dryer great too. Here's a few pics. Good luck.

I used some hard closed cell foam to shim up the low side of the forward joint, which makes the front panel almost level and greatly improves the visual fit.

Here are the latches on the inside. The latches towards the cab are metal and the rear latches are plactic.

i have the same one. The bump goes away and I noticed in the pic the right is a little high on that tail gate side. My cover did that to. I just made that side tighter and over time it came down. Urs dosent look that bad. on my truck it was very noticeable. Just got to let the cover open up and stretch out. O and dont let mud sit to long on. I had to use the whole bottom of cleaner it comes with to clean it get rid of the mud marks. It was a pain in the a$$.

Be careful, do you see how the bars are bowing downwards - mine let loose and the front flew off. I was able to stop and bungee it down. What I found was if it bows too much the clamps slip off. I ended up zip tying a piece of l-bracket across to reinforce it. I can put some pics up later. Cheers

Thanks OP for the pics. For the few problems this has its definitely worth the money. The backflips and Extangs have the same if not worse problems.

Yeah please share some pics. I called tonno pro and they said that the bowing was normal because it is constructed that way. How long have you had yours?

    Hi
Mine was on for a few months when it occured. Called tonno pro and after a long discussion they agreed to replace it. My fix on the broken one worked really well! I run a canopy now so cannot say how the new cover is fairing as I sold it. As Greggo1313 states, for the price it is a good option. I just want everyone to be aware of the mounting mechanism. image.jpgimage.jpg
You can see I zip tied the angle bracket along the mounting rail - this keeps it from bowing down. Hope this helps! Cheers

The L bracket idea is great. I just put my order in so i may just go ahead and do mine to prevent any issues.

I've had the same cover on a couple different trucks. I love how easy and lightweight it is for removing/installing. These are great quality for the money and yours will stretch out over time and look better. Be sure not to over-tighten the latch handles, it's unnecessary and you don't want to strip the threads.

So to bring up an old thread, and add some info. I have had mine since Feb and everything works great so far. No leaks and have not had any of the hardware issues others have had. My only complaint is when its windy the vinyl taps the aluminum underneath and is driving me bonkers!
