1" master cylinder is not enough for 14 bolt drum and chevy 60 disc

ordered a sky's manuf. adapter probably run a 1 1/4" bore mc. Stock chevy k30s came with 1 5/16 GOD DAMNNNNN THATS A HUGE BITCH

Have a few leaks to chase down. Need a choke cable kinda deal since I deleted the fuel kill solenoid.

Jberry solved my air bump problem, where once I compressed the bumps the shafts wouldn't come down any. Turns out... you can overtorque the bump can bolts. NEVER SAW ANY MENTION OF THAT ANYWHERE EVER. So glad I have Jason to help me! I was like WTF man.

Exhaust is like really loud but what ya gonna do... The turbo whine sounds bad ass though.

Interior sucks, needs custom shit for the shifters. PITD.

Turns out the one side of the truck is covered in bondo. And there's mismatched doors, you can see the color change in the above picture. The roof racks on these 80s suck btw. I took a sawzall to the mounting studs to get it off and there was rust and cracked bondo under one of the feet. Went ham on it with a roloc, need to get something kinda color match. Yuck.

I believe it is the same as the t-100, and early pickups and 4runners (different size bores though), correct me if I'm wrong.

Well fuck if that's the case then just grab the t100. They went up to something like 1 1/16" or 1 1/8" bore I think and dirt cheap.

    They're 1 1/16 and they're $$$$, I'm not convinced 1/16 would do it either so I just got the adapter. It's like 30$ for a chevy MC.

    T-100 is 1 1/16" bore. After '95 the MC's use a 2 bolt mounting pattern.

I imagine you are better off adapting a GM MC. What calipers are you using?

Yeah mines the 4 bolt flange.

Running stock 14 bolt drums not sure if its the 1 1/16 or 1 1/8 wheel cylinders but the fronts are the big single piston 1 ton chevy calipers. Beleive the front came out of a cucv.

If you go too big the pedal will be too firm.

Does your LC have a dual diaphram booster like the t-100's? The t-100 booster bolted right up to my 1st gen 4Runner with a 1" bore MC. I don't know what LC's have

Yes sir dual booster. That's why I figured 1 1/4 which seems to be in line with what other guys are running with tons, if not I can step down to a 1 1/8. Didn't think itd be worth the 70$ to gain 1/16 and it not work out. Figured I'd jump on the gm MC bandwagon instead.

Right now it goes to the floor unless I pump the brakes a bunch and stops but won't lock em up even at 15 mph. It seems to stop better without pumping them up actually... Lol

My buddy is running a t100 MC with a 14 bolt but has the ford dual piston dana 60 calipers, says it works for him but Im just not sure. Like I said the k30s with the big brakes came with 1 5/16 masters but I reaize booster and pedal length also affect that...
