    Thank you!

That is a great build! I really need to get my engine in. Such a pain in the dick to move. Need better casters on my stupid hoist. It's great to see someone doing something very similar though, helps me with ideas.

Just curious, but why not fully weld the mount?

It's actually stronger this way, believe it or not.

    Oh, you don't believe me.

Well... I wanted to get it sitting in there so I just welded up a few things, there are some large gaps because the frame steps on the top and then I ran out of gas.

    :p

    LOL.

I mean there are some legitimate reasons for stitch welding...but I can't think of any for an engine mount!
    Looking great BTW.

Thanks dude. My fab isn't as clean as I would like (wish my shit would turn out like Eric's, man has skills), but I don't think it's booty fab at least. Should work for me.

Motor mounts v.1 were booty fab and that's why that shit had to go!

That could still be considered insulting, even mentioning it in the same paragraph...just saying.

How much room do you have after the ac cooler, radiator, and intercooler between the fan

LOL Right, that fucking guy! Scary shit.

    Umm no idea yet.

Still working on trans mount. It didn't play out how I had it figured in my head but think I have it down now.

Then I need to notch the floor for the t-case yoke.

Then I'll work on getting all the accessories and such.

I spent all day yesterday working on transmission and got almost nothing done!

Eric cut me some mounts with a verbal description, once I got them up to the frame I realized I needed to change a few things. One of which is I couldn't figure out how I'd remove the crossmember once I welded everything in, so I cut away the bottom. The other and the worst part of all is that the frame bends and tapers right where my crossmember sits. So I had to cut down the mount and then the 2" box tube is a little wide for the bushing sleeve and the mount will sit at a taper and not perpendicular to the box tube so I ended up buying some 1 3/4 .147 wall pipe, it was some drop the local steel shop had. .25 (the 2" box is .25) would have been ideal but it's almost straight up and down and just a short 6" section on either side so it should be okay I think. Maybe in the future I'll have Eric do some 1 3/4 tube work and add to the mount so I've got 4 points of attachment to the frame. I'm a little worried about things bending going forward or back not so much up. So this is what I've come up with.
