    Rack looks good!

On the awning tho you know there are two more poles that extend out and into the plate that un rolls right?? The the awning straps to it..and the legs can go straight down..

Like so..you can see them running the length of the awning..

thanks man. i went with the mt bachelor. unfortunately didn't get any pictures of it set up.

as much as i love the rack i may or may not sell it and build a new one. it pushed the center of gravity up a little too high with the tent for my liking on moab rim. it was really tippy

I was going to ask about that.

I love the clean view lines out the back but the COG must be tweaky.

yeah. same here. i have a really good view out the back right now and it's not too bad most of the time but when the trail gets off camber it is VERY noticeable. i legitimately thought i was going to flop the truck a couple times on moab rim.

so, revamp of the bed rack is in the future..... aaaaannnnnd maybe building a simple trailer:spy:

Looks good tho. I'm dying to try some of that stuff with mine. It sits a bit lower then yours but not much.

thanks man. it's really not that bad but the tippy sections (which was basically all of moab rim) are amplified with the weight that high.

    dakars +AAL, 1" shackle, 5125's

i'm still throwing around ideas right now. if i decide to build a trailer i might just leave the rack how it is and throw the tent on the trailer and leave it at camp for the tippy stuff. i leaned the truck pretty far and didn't flop so it might just be me having never tipped the truck that far before
