    good idea in theory, not so much in the real world
    haha, so what you're saying is next time the tool you won't have that saves frankenstein will be my 60" hi-lift instead of Ben's vise grips.....

    Nope. I checked........ then checked again just for you:eek:

    Moab rim was the last straw after I thought I was missing a piece of my seat :eek:

    Underneath was the only spot I really liked. It was a major pain with them in on the sides because I couldn't get to anything without unloading everything first.

    no major problems, just a few hiccups. i didn't realize 5125's were the "generic" for lack of a better word when i bought them. so the only issue i had was the size of the mounting eye because it is too small for the stock location.

    you will have to drill out the rubber bushings on the eyelets a little if you're going to use them in the stock location.

    i got them through Low Range Offroad. really good company to work with.

    if you order via phone to DSM they will get you the right sized bushings for 1st gens. Billies come with two sizes and normally come with too small a size.

    if you keep the rack you have now, it works. but if you plan to lower it all the space you gain with the shelf takes away from space in the bed itself. unless you want a short shelf for skinny boxes.
