Thank ya'll, but I don't want to add another gauge or screen in my Taco, as a scangauge , GPS, or ultra gauge, seem to do. I just want a way to make my orig. speedometer read accurately, like we did years ago, with the little $6.00 gear we replaced in the trans.

The most hidden option will be the Rough Country unit, but that's the same problem. You'll need a laptop to program it.

Yep, Eubeenhad, that looks like what I am wanting, but very complicated & confusing. I watched a U-Tube film about them, It didn't show Tacos, but on other trucks, GM's & Ram's, they programmed something on their lap top computer, then connected the "Rough Country speedometer calibrator" to the plug on the truck, went thru appx. 12 different button pushings, including the new tire diameter, then the orig speedometer read accurately. There was no gauge to be mounted to the truck. I didn't understand what the lap top computer did. The first thing they did was program their lap top, After they programmed the stuff to the lap top, they never mentioned lap top again. They just connected the cable from their Rough Country thing to the truck they were working on & pushed buttons on it, never did anything with the lap top. This doesn't look like something I should buy, it looks like something a shop would have so when customers came in with different sized tires, they could charge the customer for reprogramming the speedometer. Are there shops out there that has this thing & I can just take my Taco to them & pay them to calibrate my speedo?, or does everyone need to buy one for their truck?

Those days are unfortunately over unless you know how to add resistors or something to the abs system to make it think the wheels are spinning faster then they actually are
