It's usually at worst at the fully slid back position and Seat back at Vertical. I Had Dealer adjust mine and it is 99% better and no noise.
Also, When the seat is at the full back position it has a tendency not to lock in the full back position. Ensure it is fully latched in the full back position (Shake and pull it Fwd/ Back) until the position fingers lock/snap into place - or - pull the seat forward one click from the rear.

Don’t really notice if my cab is noisy or not I’m half deaf and have tinnitus I usually have the radio up so no problem. But today I had to drive 60 miles on the interstate between Omaha and Des Monies the wind was pretty bad 40 miles an hour. Funny thing I learned about my truck today first is the stock Bilstein shocks suck and my passenger head rest wiggles and squeaks. It was driving me nuts I almost pulled over and ripped it out and threw it onto the side of the road. So go ahead and do what you need to do to your truck your opinion is the only one that matters.

I traded a 2016 for a 2020 and I would agree that it is quieter, the door seals are the thing that I notice the most and everyone else in the family, you have to deliberately close the door to ensure it latches fully, I am still getting used to that. A little quieter and the transmission shifts much better are things I notice the most between the 2. (Both trucks were identical spec)

Same language in the 2019 press release: https://pressroom.toyota.com/2019-t...e-capability-with-new-sx-package-and-trd-pro/

Tacoma rides along quietly thanks to enhanced door seals, a multi-layer acoustic windshield, sound-absorbing headliner, and a floor silencer pad. Interior storage is maximized in Access Cab models with fold-up rear seats and under-seat storage. Double Cab models feature 60/40 split rear seats with adjustable headrests and under-seat storage.

I've also seen language about the side windows that's been floating around for at least a model year or two.

I upgraded to Bilstein 6112/5100 front/rear. Truck is noticeably more stable on windy highways.

Yea that’s pretty much what I was looking at. If you don’t mind what did you pay for them and did you have a shop put them on if so what did they charge? I just had major back surgery for the 3rd time so I’m going to be pretty limited the rest of my life on how much work I can do. I hate to pay someone but it is what it is.

    Sorry to hear that.

I got the 6112's with Bilstein 600lb springs as assembled struts, and I did the installation. $950/shipped from Wheelers Offroad (recommended).

I put on the Hellwig 7719 front sway bar on last week. The shocks were definitely good on their own, just got the bug to go further with on-road handling.

You need some louder tires buddy :) Put some duratracs on that b and relax to the “hum” while you’re cruising down the road.
