My steering wheel has started moaning, for lack of a better word, every now and then when I'm in the process of pulling in to or out of a spot (Turning the wheel a bunch). I checked the fluid level and it was WELL above where it was supposed to be. Is there any way drain some of the excess fluid? I can only imagine the damage that can be caused by too much fluid in a pressurized system.

    Thoughts?

    Fixed it!

Rather than looking for a drain like a NORMAL person, I decided to get some straws that were about 3 feet long, and just pipet the excess fluid out. I don't think I measured even a little when I added fluid a month ago. I just poured the whole thing in, like a boss.

Just thought I'd post a solution if anyone else pulls a dumbass maneuver like I did.

Flush the entire system(easy) using Amsoil Dex III. It will make it quieter. It holds just over 1 quart.

Hmmm, I'll keep that in mind next time I swap the fluids in my truck. Probably another thousand miles or so. Thanks!
