    When I want torque I hop in my '69 Chevelle, neck snapping torque that thing has I tell ya, it's like taking off on ice covered roads with that thing, shift into second and I go sideways, tires smoking. Now thats a fun time!!! Or I can drive it like I do my Tacoma and no one knows I have 500HP

    I don't normally post comments such as this but that sounds ridiculous!

    I've driven vehicles with upwards of 600lb ft of TQ and never had an issue taking off. Granted I was losing some TQ from drive-line to wheels so roughly 420 to the pavement.

    There is no such thing as too much HP or TQ.

    We have a Ram Mega cab just like that one up top, except it's white, on the farm that I work on and it's a beast. Chipped, tuned, smoke switch, full audio upgrade including 2 JL Aiudio W3's and fully active Hertz High Energy components with a double din pioneer nav unit, and leather. It makes the 3 hour trip to market at 4am so much better because whom ever is not driving can sleep very easily because of all the room in the truck and the rear reclining seats. :thumbsup:

    I'm thinking he might have a sport. Its pretty tough even on dry pavement to apply generous gas turning onto a street without busting the tires loose with the limited slip. I'm running 285/70/17 BFG KM2's and still have an issue. Have to be careful.

    I'm not complaining though... thats for sure.

    Thats why you apply the accelerator heavier after straightening the truck out rather than while turning.....
