... and now I am driving a RAV4 for the next 2-8 weeks. I miss my Taco already. I had been eagerly awaiting winter to get a little crazy in the snow and now I might miss most of the winter waiting for Leaf springs. /sadface

A good local shop would have you going in a couple hours.

LoL 2-8 weeks?! That has to be them waiting for the part to come in. A leaf spring is the simplest thing in the world to replace.

Good grief. 2-8 weeks is a ridiculously wide window.

You could just replace them yourself with a better pack than Toyota will provide, and then submit for reimbursement. Under the current recall, they should cover you. Better leafs + No waiting = WinWin.

I was just asked if I would take a loaner for 6 months because they have the leaf springs on order with my frame. Just saw today my drivers side is broken
